Sailor Chi was one of the soldiers to work under Sailor Galaxia. She was not an Animamate, as Animamates have metal names in their Sailor title and have the Sailor Crystal of a Senshi who formerly held that title. For example, Sailor Tin Nyanko "represents" Mau, but is not Sailor Mau. Sailor Chi was almost always seen with Sailor Phi, her partner.
Sailor Chi first appears when she destroyed Sailor Lethe and Sailor Mnemosyne for betraying Shadow Galactica. She then steals the Sailor Starlights' Sailor Crystals.
Sailor Chi makes her most important appearace after Sailor Heavymetal Papillon is defeated. Princess Kakyuu transforms into Sailor Kakyuu, and points out that the source of Sailor Chi and Sailor Phi's power are their braclets.
Sailor Phi is killed, and in anger Sailor Chi then thrusts her staff through Sailor Kakyuu's back, killing her. The Sailor Quartet attack Sailor Chi while Sailor Kakyuu lays dying in Sailor Moon arms. Then Sailor Moon thrusts out the Eternal Tier, killing Sailor Chi.
