Neo Queen Serenity is the future self of Usagi, and the mother of Chibiusa (Sailor Chibi Moon). It seems that in the future Neo Queen Serenity is more mature than Usagi, and makes a good mother considering the fact that her daughter Chibiusa highly admires her.
She is first introduced in the Black Moon arc of the series, also known as Sailor Moon R. She is shown lying on a table, encased in crystal.
Throughout most of the Black Moon arc, Neo Queen Serenity will not awake from a deep sleep, a state like she's in a coma. When Chibiusa transforms into Sailor Chibi Moon, Neo Queen Serenity wakes up. At the end of the arc, she meets Usagi before Usagi goes back to her present time. Neo Queen Serenity also send a new wand back to Usagi to use, the Spiral Heart Moon Rod.
In SailorStars, Neo Queen Serenity's main role was to welcome Small Lady Serenity back to Crystal Tokyo.
