Sailor Neptune's first introduction was during the Infinity arc. Sailor Neptune is one of the soldiers of the Outer Solar System, along with Sailor Uranus, Sailor Pluto, and Sailor Saturn. These soldiers are given more power than Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus, and their job was to protect the Silver Millenium. Michiru's personality is graceful and refined. She is good at most everything that she does, though she especially excels at the violin. Michiru is a lesbian, and her lover is Haruka, who is also Sailor Uranus.
Michiru's first major appearance in the SailorStars manga is at a concert. Haruka, Michiru, and the Three Lights are doing a joint performance. Sailor Iron Mouse attacks the concert, and all of the solar system's Sailor Senshi except for Sailor Chibi Moon, Sailor Saturn, and Sailor Pluto transform to defeat their enemy, and end up meeting the mysterious Sailor Starlights.
After many run-ins with the enemy and witnessing Sailor Mercury and Sailor Jupiter's death, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, and Sailor Pluto went to their castles to better analyze the threat. Before they could do too much, Sailor Galaxia took their Star Seeds. Sailor Saturn was transported to Sailor Pluto's castle, and was also eliminated.
Sailor Moon meets back up with Sailor Neptune, but under undesirable circumstances. Sailor Neptune, along with the rest of the Sailor Senshi, were revived by Sailor Galaxia. All of the Sailor Senshi viciously attacked Sailor Moon, but Sailor Moon eventually found the courage to defeat her captured friends. In the end after Sailor Moon saves everyone, she meets all of her friends in the Galaxy Cauldron. Usagi is sent back to Earth with all her friends, and all of the Sailor Senshi serve as bridesmaids during Usagi's wedding to Mamoru.
