Sailor Uranus's first introduction was during the Infinity arc. Sailor Uranus is one of the soldiers of the Outer Solar System, along with Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto, and Sailor Saturn. These soldiers are given more power than Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus, and their job was to protect the Silver Millenium. Haruka is an outspoken and opinionated person. She enjoys being free, and loves racing. Haruka is also skilled at playing the piano. Haruka is a lesbian. Her lover is Michiru, who is also Sailor Neptune.
The first big appearance Haruka makes in the SailorStars manga is during a Haruka and Michiru / Three Lights concert. After the concert Seiya shakes Haruka's hand. Haruka feels energy from Seiya and is intrigued. At a different concert, Sailor Iron Mouse attacks the Three Lights' concert. Sailors Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus, and Neptune transform and defend thte concert. The mysterious Sailor Starlights then make their first appearance.
After unsuccessfully defending Sailor Mercury and Sailor Jupiter from Sailor Aluminum Seiren, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, and Sailor Pluto decide to go to their castles to investigate the disturbance that the Sailor Animamates were causing. Before their investigation could get too far, Sailor Galaxia attacked and destroyed the four Senshi of the Outer Solar System, including Sailor Saturn who was transported.
Sailor Uranus, along with the other Sailor Senshi, were revived by Sailor Galaxia with bracelets, and forced to work under her. Although at first Sailor Moon couldn't find against her friends, she found the courage inside herself to defeat the shells of her friends. Meeting in the Galaxy Cauldron under happier circumstances, all of the Sailor Senshi were sent back to Earth. Haruka, along with the rest of the Sailor Senshi team, became bridesmaids for Usagi's wedding to Mamoru.
