Sailor Cosmos looked around. "Where am I?" she breathed. She glanced and saw her staff being held in a thick, black cloud. "My staff!" she cried. She reached out for it...almost there....

FHZZZT! "Ow," she exclaimed. "My fingers! Something or someone must not want me with that staff."

"Heh, heh, heh...you pretty thing. I shall have fun tormenting you. Heh, heh, heh." She turned to see a dark figure walk into the light. She gasped.

"Damn it!" Sailor Cosmos cursed under her breath. "WHO ARE YOU?" Sailor Cosmos yelled out.

"My name is not important to you!" Whoever, or whatever was out there blasted Sailor Cosmos, sending her falling backwards. Sailor Cosmos screamed as she crashed against a wall. She tried again for her staff, but to no avail.

"What do you want from me?" Sailor Cosmos gasped out.

"Your Sailor Crystal!!!" it yelled out again before blasting her. Two golden blasts that would steal her soul, her Sailor Crystal, ripped towards Sailor Cosmos. Sailor Cosmos turned around and her eyes widened...

"Noooooo!" Cosmos shouts, shielding herself with her arms. To her amazement, the beams miss her, but what appears to be another senshi stands in her path!

"Who- who are you?" Sailor Cosmos manages to choke after nearly having a 'oh my god those beams are heading right for me' heart attack. The senshi turns her head, and gives a smile.

"I am your future self, come back to your aid." the Senshi explains, "You will need all the help you can get for the task at hand."

"M-my future self?" Sailor Cosmos gasped.

"Yes." The soft voice whispered.

"But...what? How?" Sailor Cosmos breathed.

"I am your very future Sailor Cosmos." The figure stepped out of the shadows. "You are in my time, where Chaos has been reborn from the cauldron's sea of stars."

"I was the very first Sailor Moon. I was the one who caused you to be born." The first Sailor Cosmos whispered in sadness.

"My only living friend now is Rei-chan, Eternal Sailor Mars." Future Sailor Cosmos sighed, and Rei stepped out of the shadows, and Rei's eyes widened as two more golden blasts ripped towards Sailor Cosmos.

...First silence.

Rei screamed in agony as the golden blasts ripped out her soul, her Sailor Crystal.

"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you any longer..." Eternal Sailor Mars whispered painfully, and her body dissapeared.

Future Sailor Cosmos screamed at her inner agony.

Present Cosmos watched in horror as she saw the death of a future self of one of her closest friends.

"I know your pain." she muttered to the future Cosmos. "I too have seen the death of some of my dearest friends..... *she pauses* Which is why this bloodshed must stop!"

Feeling an urge of strength Sailor Cosmos steps up to join her devestated friend. Her future self looks at her and says, "We can do this, we can beat this shadow of which has befallen us... For your sake, and for mine."

The present Cosmos nods and looks hopeful, "Yes... For both our sakes."

Future Cosmos shouts as a beam of light shoots from her staff. Chaos screams, as the original Sailor Cosmos' staff is knocked away.

The present Cosmos jumps in the air to retrieve her staff. She glances at her future self, and then at Chaos, "Your crystal will be gone very soon, and you will never see another soul for the rest of eternity."

She points the tip of her staff towards Chaos, and a jet of light beams out.

The light then simply bounced of Chaos. Sailor Cosmos gasped in horror. Future Sailor Cosmos collaped on the floor and started to sob, missing both her friends and dissapointed that Chaos dodged the shot.

Sailor Cosmos jumped back, and glared at Chaos.

"I'll cut your shine into pieces so it'll never shine again!" Chaos let two golden blasts go towards Future Sailor Cosmos. Future Sailor Cosmos didn't notice, and it stole her soul.

Future Sailor Cosmos gasped and fell back, Chaos laughing. Future Sailor Cosmos gasped and breathed heavily as she died.

"I'm sorry...I failed...and now you're going to dissapear...I'm sorry I failed you..."

"No!" Sailor Cosmos sobbed as her body started to fade too. "This can't end! We couldn't protect our world! Our beautiful world!"

"The galaxy now belongs to ME! Chaos and war shall rule supreme!" Chaos laughed.

"I'm sorry I failed you...my past self...my precious past self..." Future Sailor Cosmos and Sailor Cosmos drew in one last breath before her soul and Future Sailor Cosmos's were delivered back to the point of birth, the Galaxy Cauldron...

...Suddenly, Present Cosmos looked up. She wasn't in the galaxy cauldron, but still where Chaos was. He looked at her curiously.

"You! Why are you still here?!" he cried.

"I....I don't know," she breathed. Why was she still here?

"So this is what has become of me," mused a voice in the corner. Chaos looked up.

"YOU!" he screamed. The figure smiled.

"Me," she said. Sailor Cosmos finally saw the figure.

It was a woman, or rather, a mature-looking child, with long, dark flowing hair. She wore a blackish-purple dress that began above her breasts and ended about 3 inches before her knees. The dress had a long trail, about 3 yards total. She wore black, shiny, high-heeled sandals that laced up halfway up her calves. She had a sash that was connected to a band on each of her wrists and swung behind her back. "So this is what you become."

"HOW DO YOU KNOW ME!?" roared Chaos. The figure smiled.

"I am the Guardian of your childhood, Chaos." Sailor Cosmos stared at her.

"The guardian of my childhood?" Chaos breathed.

Sailor Cosmos was in shock, but looked around and noticed...Future Sailor Cosmos wasn't there. Future Sailor Cosmos was sent to the sea of stars instead of her.

"Who are you?!" Chaos demanded.

"I am Guardian Chaos." Guardian Chaos smiled evilly.

"Guardian Chaos...no! The guardian of the Chaos Seed!" Sailor Cosmos looked horrified.

"And I brought you back, Sailor Cosmos. Both Guardian Cosmos and Chaos are under my control. Don't worry, neither will bother us. However, you have no escape now. It's either fight or die." Guardian Chaos smirked.

Sailor Cosmos stood stiff. She could either fight Guardian Chaos or run away...run away. If she ran away, she would have a huge burden on her shoulders, but she would be alive with her friends in the past. If she fought, she would most probably die alone, without her friends knowing where she was...but know she died with honor.

Who says you're going to die?

Sailor Cosmos blinked.

Close your eyes...

"Have you made your desicion?" Guardian Chaos smirked.

Sailor Cosmos hesitantly closed her eyes.

"Who are you?" Sailor Cosmos asked the being.

I am Guardian Cosmos. Who says you're going to die? But the choice is completely up to you. Run and fight later, or fight now.

Sailor Cosmos opened her eyes, her Sailor Crystal guardian's image melting away.

"I'm waiting..." Guardian Chaos smirked. Sailor Cosmos breathed and made up her mind once and for all. She decided to...

...she decided that she was going to fight. "I'm going to-," she began. Suddenly, an infinite number of shining silver beams shot at the Guardian of Chaos's childhood.

"How dare you impersonate me!" snarled a woman's voice from the direction of the beams. Out of the shadows stepped a woman with silver hair. She looked almost exactly like the woman who was shot with silver beams. This woman had on the same apparel, except in a dazzling silver color. "You call yourself Guardian Chaos, and you may be right. But impersonating the Guardian of the gentle childhood of Chaos is most dispicable!"

"I thought that the Chaos Slaves bound you!" screeched the Black Guardian Chaos.

"They did...until I explained to them that you are a fake! A liar! A sneak!" Silver Guardian Chaos shot back. Black Guardian Chaos smirked.

"My...my childhood?" gasped Chaos. "You...guard my...childhood?" Silver Guardian Chaos looked kindly upon Chaos.

"Yes...an innocent stretch of life before your Uncle Despair came and took you away from your mother and father.... You always fought for the good guys. But now...now after your Uncle Despair has died...has taught you the ways of evil...you have followed his word. His terrible word. And caused the universe great harm. Now...I will continue to guard your beautiful childhood, full of dreams and hope and laughter, but never will I stand by your side," explained Silver Guardian Chaos. She turned to Sailor Cosmos. "Will you accept my help in defeating him?"

Sailor Cosmos was a bit taken aback by all this.

Of course that's not the real Guardian Chaos

Sailor Cosmos closed her eyes again, and her guardian appeared.

That black guardian Chaos...is a distant relative of Chaos. The true Guardian Chaos is still melted into this sea of stars, along with the Chaos Seed. Don't forget, this is the place where hopes and possibilities are born.

"What about the first Sailor Cosmos?" Sailor Cosmos thought frantically.

Her shine is safe with me. Now go defeat Chaos! Join her!

"But what if she backstabs me?!" Sailor Cosmos thought frantically.

She won't. I am the Cosmos Guardian. I should know, trust me.

Sailor Cosmost took a deep breath and opened her eyes.

"Yes, I'll join you. I'll help you purify Chaos." Sailor Cosmos breathed.

"I am the one who failed to become a star, Chaos! Witness the new birth of the ultimate star!" Chaos roared, rushing towards the two beings.

Sailor Cosmos and Guardian Chaos leaped at the black mass...

Suddenly, a yellow rose went through the air and hit Chaos. He roared.

"Mamoru!!" cried out Cosmos. The Silver Guardian smiled. She then said "Mushy stuff later. Now, is the fight, and we must win!"

Cosmos laughed. "Yes...Mamoru! come join us!" he said he would be right back. when cosmos looked over to Chaos, he was gone.

"CHAOS IS GONE!" Screamed Cosmos.

"But I'm not." Guardian Chaos smirked.

Tuxedo Kamen rushed in and tried to attack. Guardian Chaos hit him to the side. Guardian Chaos let loose two blasts toward Sailor Cosmos. First the blasts. Then Tuxedo Kamen's black cape falling on Sailor Cosmos as he defended her.

Sailor Cosmos was speechless.

"I'm from...your time...sent by Sailor Pluto to...protect you..." Tuxedo Kamen breathed heavily.

"Mamo-chan..." Sailor Cosmos sobbed.

His body faded back to the point of origin.

"DIE!!!" Guardian Chaos screamed as she pointed two blasts towards Sailor Cosmos. "I'LL LEAD YOU STRAIGHT ON THE PATH TO YOUR BELOVED!"

Sailor Cosmos, tears in her eyes, stood straight up.

"I've had enough..." she whispered menacingly.

"Enough to die?" Guardian Chaos asked.

Sailor Cosmos took her staff and shot it in a straight line towards Guardian Chaos. Guardian Chaos screamed and disinegrated in a burst of light. Guardian Cosmos broke free.

"I was halfway improsoned in Guardian Chaos, thank you so much for setting me free." Guardian Chaos whispered. Thousands of glimmers surrounded them.

"Thank you for returning my time to it's peace." Future Sailor Cosmos smiled. As Future Sailor Cosmos's friends surrounded their leader, Sailor Cosmos sadly walked away, unsure if she would ever see Mamoru again...

When Sailor Cosmos got back to her time, she was greeted with...

...hundreds upon thousands of cheers and whistles. She smiled. "WE KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!" screamed the enormous crowd. Sailor Cosmos had tears in her eyes, and she felt a small tug on her shoe. She looked down at a small boy, clothed in sooty clothes (they could have passed as rags) that had been thrown out by the richer people.

"Sank yu, Saywar Cosmos." He handed her a boquet of wildflowers he obviously had gathered from a far-off meadow. There were still burrs in the boy's clothes and hair from his journey. Sailor Cosmos began to cry.

"Whas wong, Saywar Cosmos?" he asked, concerned about his idol. "We knew huff yaw winning fum Saywar Puto." Sailor Cosmos picked up the boy and his shabby bouqet and hugged him.

"I was afraid I'd never make it home. Thank you."

"Chibi!" cried a familiar voice in the distance.

"Chibi Chibi! The Guardian of Chaos's Childhood and I have defeated Chaos!" Sailor Cosmos yelled, smiling.

"Chibi! CHIBI CHIBI!!" yelled Chibi Chibi. Sailor Cosmos felt a strong poke in eye.

"OWWW! Chibi Chibi! Chibi Chibi! I defeated Chaos! We defeated...," began Sailor Cosmos. She looked around her. Chibi Chibi was sitting on her stomach. She was in her room...safe. "Oh, Chibi Chibi. I had a most intense dream! It was wonderful! I wish it was real." Sailor Cosmos looked off into the distance. "We'd better get going!" She shoved a disgruntled Chibi Chibi off her bed and they went downstairs to eat breakfast. But up on the top shelf above Sailor Cosmos's bed was a bouqet of wildflowers....
