Well... About Kakeru, uhm... well, I just wanted to spend some more time with him, really... haha! Myself and Artemis (and, consequentially, Diana) are from the planet Mau, which, as you can deduce from the name, is a planet of cats - however, we are more than that. We are intelligent and can understand human speech, and we also posess human forms.

No, and there is a very simple explanation why - Mamoru already holds the crystal for Earth, so there can be no Sailor Earth. The sun is not considered a "star" in the same sense that Venus or the Moon are - think about their differences - there are surfaces on Venus and the moon - the sun is simply a mass of incandescent gas.
